Who we are

Closive, Inc. builds and operates the Closive assistant. You can reach us at manpreet@closive.ai about anything on this page.

What this website collects

This marketing site runs no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no third-party scripts, and it sets no cookies. If you submit the access form, the name, email address and any details you write are delivered to us by email through our email provider so we can reply. That is all it does.

What the application collects

• Your Google identity. The account identifier Google gives us, plus your email address and display name, so we know which Closive account is yours.
• Gmail content and metadata. Messages, senders, recipients, subjects, timestamps and thread structure, used to notice obligations and to ground answers in the actual thread.
• Calendar events. Titles, times, attendees and descriptions of your meetings.
• Exact linked Workspace files. When a message or event points to a specific Google Drive file that matters to the task, Closive reads that file. It does not browse or index your Drive.
• What you tell it. Chat messages, and audio you record with push-to-talk or hands-free voice, which is transcribed to text.
• What it derives. Your Work items, Priorities, notes, corrections, prepared drafts, their revisions and delivery receipts.

How it is used

Your data is used to run the product for you: to build and maintain your Work and Priorities, to answer your questions with evidence, to prepare drafts you can review, to send one exact email version after you confirm it, and to keep an open loop moving. Relevant excerpts are sent to third-party AI model and speech providers to produce those judgments, transcriptions and drafts.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use Google Workspace data to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models. We do not share it with anyone beyond the providers listed below.

Google user data

Closive’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, Google user data is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features described on this site; it is not transferred to others except as needed to provide those features, with your consent, or where required by law; it is never used for advertising; and humans do not read it except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with the law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised.

In practice, during the alpha: we do not read your mail as a matter of course. If you report a problem that we cannot reproduce without looking at a specific record, we will ask you first.

Who processes it

• Google — the source of your mail, calendar and linked files.
• Railway— the cloud host the application and your account’s storage run on.
• OpenAI — processes the bounded context needed to produce judgments, answers and drafts.
• ElevenLabs — provides current voice transcription and playback. Deepgram and Cartesia are supported fallback voice providers and process voice only when configured.
• Vercel — hosts this marketing website. It receives no account data.
• Resend — delivers the access-form email to us.

How long it is kept

Normalized source context and your durable Closive state are kept while your account is active, because follow-through depends on remembering what happened. The live profile does not retain a second lossless copy of raw Google API responses after normalization; an older recovery copy may contain the prior state until it expires. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account, its database and its stored files, and confirm when it is done. Account data is removed from remaining recovery backups within 90 days. Your choices

• Revoke Closive’s access at any time from your Google account permissions. Signing out of Closive on its own does not disconnect Google.
• Email manpreet@closive.ai to disconnect Google, to request a copy of what we hold, or to delete your account and its data.

Children

Closive is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify invited users by email.
